Bloom True Bali

I went to Bali for a month in March and April to assist with two transformational intuitive painting retreats. It was my first time in Asia and it took nearly 30 hours to get there. I don’t know how to describe the heat and humidity other than to say that even my Viking ancestors were sweating. Hauling around a 600g uterus was causing me a great deal of discomfort but I certainly enjoyed this amazing tropical island where offerings are made daily by the people who practice Balinese Hinduism: a hybrid Hindu/Animist/Ancestor/Buddhist Deity worship. Thank all those gods and whoever else was looking out for me as I cruised around with Lynzee Lynx on a motorscooter on the left side of the road, past banyan trees, monkey forests and up the coast line. I spent about equal time in the fishing coastal village of Amed, and in the bustling cultural center of Ubud. Below are some snapshots from my adventure (you can see a lot more photos of the retreats by searching for #bloomtruebali on Instagram)
