I’m producing an e-course. It’s called The Love Offensive: 21 Days on the Power of Photography. My dear friend Tara Morris is teaching it, and she is shit-your-pants funny. Like cry-laugh emoji face funny. But she’s also one of the East Coast’s most successful photographers.
Check out the promo video here:
Anyway, wow — there are a lot of e-courses out there. Mostly, I think this is a good thing. I’m a huge advocate for non-traditional learning. Fuck all that banking model education, give me critical pedagogy or GTFO. Home school, un-school, de-school, learn it all on YouTube, you don’t have to go into mega debt to be an expert at pretty much anything. (But also shout out to public school teachers which I was for about ten years. In a world of online facilitators, y’all are teachers.)
In any case, you have choices about how you want to learn things. I’ll be along for this one, holding anyone’s hand who needs it, making sure you get all the lessons, and “holding space” for your “process” or as Tara calls it, LISTENING. Don’t judge, she’s from Boston.
- There will be twice weekly lessons with beautiful HD videos delivered straight to your inbox.
- There will be real-time feedback on your photographs in a private Facebook group and in live weekly Q+A Spreecasts with Tara.
- You will laugh your ass off.
I am giving away five spots given away RIGHT OVER HERE on the Facebook page. Just leave a photo comment of someone you love to enter. I’ll choose five winners by midnight May 20th.
