Dreamy Portland Birthday Party

I got the best gig ever doing a DIY dream catcher birthday party for Michelle Clabby at Instrument in Portland, an amazing converted industrial space featuring animal heads, teepees, lots of Macs, posters about fonts – you know, my kind of place. The whole place was really inspiring and definitely got our creative juices flowing. It was so much fun and I learnt so much about making dream catchers that I would never have thought about before. Oh, and by the way check this out: a lot of the folks there were Vermonters! So, of course, that means we have people in common.

I love attending parties like this. In fact, I would quite like to organize one myself! That being said, there is so much to think about when planning a party. Especially if your party is going to be attended by large numbers of people. For example, you need to make sure that enough refreshments are available for all of your guests. On top of this, it is also important to make sure that you have plenty of toilets on-site! Fortunately, there are some fantastic chemical toilet hire companies out there that can help you to ensure that there are adequate amenities at your event. Do you have any party planning tips? A friend of mine is an event organizer so I might have to ask her for some advice so that I can pull off something impressive. Watch this space!

Special thanks to Burton for covering the event on their blog, as well as Portland Sunshine.
