ARTIST STATEMENT

Artist concept: A minacious fragrance weapon safe for the wearer, but dangerous for anyone who mistreats her.

It smells like a rose garden planted atop the ashes of a burned church. Lush, sweet, slightly smoky, with a nice fat ass.

Presented in antique crystal perfume bottles. Infused with herbs grown in my garden.

Part art object, part political perfume, part plant reverie, 100% transmuted femme rage: I won’t be making this exact oil again. It asks what we’re afraid of, and why. It’s a question in a bottle: who exactly is dangerous?

Artist concept: Wear it on a first date, wear it when you meditate. Wear it to make men afraid again.
