St. Johns Wort Oil 4oz
This handcrafted St. John’s wort and mugwort infused oil is a traditional, slow-infused botanical oil made for external use to support the skin, muscles, nerves, and energetic body. Infused in high-quality olive oil, this vibrant red herbal oil draws on centuries of European folk herbalism and the “wise woman” tradition. Gathered near summer solstice, close to the Feast of St. John, the herb’s namesake.
Traditional Uses
St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
Traditionally known as a nerve and tissue ally, St. John’s wort oil has long been used topically to:
Soothe muscle aches, joint discomfort, and nerve pain
Support bruises, strains, and minor injuries
Calm burns, sunburn, and irritated skin
Nourish dry, stressed, or overworked tissue
Its deep red color comes from hypericin, historically associated with restoring warmth, circulation, and resilience to damaged or depleted areas.
How to Use
Massage into sore muscles, joints, or overworked areas
Apply to bruises, scars, or dry skin (avoid broken skin)
Use as a ritual anointing oil before sleep, meditation, or bodywork
Ideal for neck, shoulders, back, hips, feet, and temples
A little goes a long way. Warm between hands before applying.
Crafted With Care
Slow-infused using traditional methods
Made in small batches from my own garden
No synthetic fragrance, fillers, or preservatives
For external use only.
As with all herbal products, patch test before use. Avoid sun exposure on treated areas, as St. John’s wort oil may increase photosensitivity.
